The AI Design Workspace Is Here
Last year, we started crossing the bridge from AI logo tool to AI design workspace. Today, we are on the other side. And this is only the beginning.
Last year, we stood at the start of a bridge.
Behind us was the Hiding Elephant people knew: a focused AI logo tool. Ahead was something much bigger. A place where designers could move from first idea to finished creative work without stitching together a pile of disconnected tools.
We called it an AI design workspace.
At the time, we could see the other side. We had the canvas. We had the direction. But most of the bridge still had to be built.
Today, we have crossed it.
This is not a logo tool with more buttons
Fourteen launches changed the shape of Hiding Elephant.
Not because fourteen is a particularly magical number. It is not. What matters is that the pieces now move together.
An idea can begin with a prompt, a reference, or a rough visual direction. It can grow on the canvas. It can pick up your brand and product context. It can become a repeatable workflow. Your team can join in. The finished work can leave ready for the world.
One place. One continuous creative process.
That is the workspace.

An idea can keep moving
The best creative ideas rarely arrive finished.
You explore. You find something with potential. You change one part. Then another. You add type. Fix the composition. Try it with a real product. Make ten versions. Ask someone what they think. Go back in. Finish it.
Hiding Elephant can now carry that whole journey.
Magic Edit lets you change the image you already like instead of starting again. Vector Canvas V2 gives you the control to shape, clean up, arrange, and finish it properly.
And creative direction no longer stops at still images. Short AI video scenes bring motion into the same production system, ready to become part of an ad, launch, or social story.
Generation is no longer the destination.
It is the beginning.

Your brand is part of the workspace
Good creative work is not enough if it could belong to anyone.
It needs your colors. Your products. Your visual language. Your rules. The little decisions that make the work feel unmistakably yours.
That is why brand guides, the product catalog, and your reusable assets became something larger: Brand Intelligence.
It gives the workspace memory.
You can bring real products into the process. Reuse the context your team already knows. Keep new directions connected to the brand instead of rebuilding that understanding in every prompt.
Ellie helps carry that context through the work. Not as a replacement for your judgment. As a creative partner who already knows what you are working with.
You can see the full layer on our Brand Intelligence page.

One great direction can become a system
Finding the idea is only half the challenge.
Then comes the production request.
Can we do this for every product? Every format? Every market? By Friday?
This is where the workspace becomes much more than a canvas.
Workflows turn a successful creative process into something reusable. Build the path once. Run it across a catalog, a campaign, or a long list of variations.

Designer and Workflows now form one creative loop. Explore by hand. Find the direction. Scale it with automation. Bring the strongest results back to the canvas for the final decisions.
That connection changes what a small team can make.
One strong idea does not have to stay one asset. It can become the starting point for a whole campaign.
And through the public workflow gallery, a proven process can become a starting point for someone else too.

The workspace is alive
Creative work gets better when people can see it, shape it, and move it forward together.
Workspaces for teams brought projects, assets, and people into one shared home. Then we made collaboration live.
Same canvas. Same moment. Real cursors. Real changes.
And Ellie joined the workspace too. You can explore an idea, ask for help, and keep the conversation beside the work itself.

No screenshot relay. No wondering which file is the latest. No disappearing into another tool every time the process changes gear.
The room is open. Your team is in it. The work keeps moving.
From blank canvas to out in the world
A workspace should not abandon you at the finish line.
The final details still matter. Remove a background. Upscale an image. Reframe it for a channel. Optimize it. Vectorize it. Our image tools now sit inside the same wider process, with free versions available on our public tool pages.
Then, when the work is ready, you can publish straight to social with Buffer. Images, batches, and short video scenes can move from the workspace towards your audience, with captions shaped by your brand context.
The loop now reaches all the way from a blank canvas to something people can actually see.
That feels big.
Because it is.
We crossed the bridge. Now the view gets interesting.
The AI design workspace is here.
But “here” does not mean finished. It means we finally have the foundation for what comes next.
The canvas can become more capable. Brand Intelligence can become more useful. The space between hands-on design and automation can keep shrinking. More of the repetitive work can disappear, while designers hold on to the part that should never disappear: taste, direction, and the final say.
That has always been the point.
AI should enhance designers, not replace them.
We started with logos because they gave us a sharp creative problem to solve. We built a canvas because generation needed craft. We built the workspace because real design work never ends at generation.
Now we get to build on all of it.
If you have followed us from the other side of the bridge, thank you for crossing with us.
If you are meeting Hiding Elephant for the first time, your timing is excellent.
See how the workspace works, or open the canvas and start something.
We are just getting going.
